Marta is a trained Clinical psychologist and Deep Memory Process Therapist. She studied for 5 years in Lisbon as a Clinical Psychologist and specialized on working with Children. In 1999, Marta worked with a broad range of patients at Santa Maria’s Hospital Pediatric ward, in Lisbon, providing counseling and therapy to both children and their parents.
Marta is a trained Clinical psychologist and Deep Memory Process Therapist. She studied for 5 years in Lisbon as a Clinical Psychologist and specialized on working with Children. In 1999, Marta worked with a broad range of patients at Santa Maria’s Hospital Pediatric ward, in Lisbon, providing counseling and therapy to both children and their parents.
After this, Marta continued training in London at the Tavistock Clinic. Here, she followed her passion for working with children, and completed her MA on Psychoanalytical Observational Studies. Marta developed knowledge and skills in child development, emotionally gaining insight on adolescents and parents and the dynamics in a family in a psychoanalytical context.
During the same period, Marta worked as a Counselor at a primary school in London, providing psychotherapy for children, their parents, and support the school’s staff.
Marta enhanced her training through studies with Roger Woolger, Ph.D. (the creator of Deep memory process), where she trained as a DMP therapist. DMP is a regression therapy that helps to transform and release trauma from the body, mind and emotions in a single comprehensive process. With this technique, Marta can help people through childhood regression, past life regression and other therapeutic approaches to address past memories that are in need of resolution.
